TUB TIME, OR THINK TANK is a durational instillation in the Production Workshop Upstairs space running February 9-February 19. This work of sculpture and performance is a nostalgic exploration of loss and recovery, of intimacy and distance, of creation and destruction. Constantly in flux, the work is a process rather than a piece. Creators Timothy Simonds and Hollis Mickey bathe together in the Production Workshop upspace amongst the refuse of Pleasure Dome. In this think tank, anything can happen. The unexpected evolves in the intermingling and lingering of sensation, the mixing and blurring of boundaries. Performances happen in and out of the PW upspace.
