That was fun. Let's do that again sometime. Please send your answers to me, and whoever gets them all right gets to bring donuts to next week's meeting.

  • Sasha wants the upspace on Wednesday or Friday. She gets both.
  • They're building. A lot. They said they'd e-mail us, but they didn't. They lie.
  • Maya offers herself as a mentor. I'm saving it for later, so fill in your own second half of that thought.

  • 4 Proposers. Joel, Tess, Chris and Krista.
  • Due date, Wednesday.
  • Director Decision Meeting, Saturday @ 9:00am. DON'T BE LATE. Come having read applications and scripts.
  • 11:00, interviews begin.
  • New members do not vote at their first decision meeting, but should still come prepared to discuss.
  • Mikey: “There are no good times to perform the show anymore.” We discuss this and decide nothing. Good thing we meet weekly.
  • Pooh Bear is figuring out housing.

  • Proposals due NEXT Wednesday. Wallem is proposing.
  • We decide the next Sat. at 9:00am. Oh yeah, baby, oh yeah. No wonder nobody brings donuts.

  • Let ins:
  • Tuesday @ 7: Immer
  • Thursday @ 7: Mikey
  • Sat let-in/monitor: See Tess' e-mail, pasted below:
  • “so I need someone to let in on saturday at 7 and then to monitor the show starting at 9. It doesn't sound like it will be too long- plus you get to see some cool brown bands. ”
  • Tess explains monitoring to the fresh faces.

Maya has posters.

  • Part is on its way.
  • Todd is fuckface.
  • Ross is telling a really long story about the speaker. There is no reason to tell this story, and certainly no reason it needs to take this long. Nobody needs to know. The new members are falling asleep. Somebody poke Alana. Alex is pretending to pay attention. That's my boy. You'll get over that real soon, kid.

  • Tabled and struck from future agendas. Take that, Drumsta!!!
  • (Just kidding! I loved the last prom! I think proms are fabulous. Don't hate me! I'm just bitter cause I went to a high school that didn't have a prom, which is probably good, because I couldn't have gotten a date if I'd payed someone!)

Immer skipped the meeting cause he's a senior and his thesis is due on Monday. More on this later.

  • Lights in the shop will be raised by environmental health and safety.
  • We're getting a hazardous waste can for no good reason.
  • Maya is in hazardous materials training. Alex will join her.
  • Nobody lost their keys. Good work, kiddos.

  • Justin is going to figure it out. Sasha took $300 from his budget and he didn't even notice. Immer is going to show him how to use the calculator on his fancy Powerbook.
  • Mikey explains our budget, but it is not included in the minutes because the words “super-secret” were used. Also, I got bored.

I forgot to bring this up (Justin), but I promise it'll be on the agenda next week. So we'd best have an update!

Maya's Business

(Editorial Note: Sorry, summer studies should have been in the agenda. Won't happen again!).
Summer Studies

  • Oy vey. Nobody really knows what Maya says, because I think she used only nouns and adjectives. I kept waiting for a verb, but it never came. So here, as far as I can tell, is what Maya was trying to say:
  • TRANSLATION: Maya met with summer studies. It was fun, and she likes Mark Cohen again [phew]. He is paying someone $2,500+housing for the summer job, minding PW. It is not clear what the full responsibilities will entail, but we're okay with that. They may be able to have an evening job. Also, we'll talk to Mark about making sure our stuff doesn't get fucked up. We need to pick a person by May 1.
  • That was it. We decide to inventory our rooms during finals week.
  • We decide to have prospective summer employees discuss amongst themselves, and if they can't decide we'll let Summer Studies figure it out. Props to Reese (I think it was her) for an excellent solution.
  • A subcommittee is formed. They will not meet. Maya, Pooh Bear, Elliot B. Quick, and Kaya are on the subcommittee. Good thing we did that.

Maya's number is on some bathroom wall, and people keep calling it. Good to know.

Mikey's Business
Mikey is talking, but so is Maya. It is hard to hear him. Ah yes. He wants to borrow props for solo show. I am looking at my minutes and they make no sense. It says: “Maya will do work.” I don't know what that's about, but Maya, you'd better do it, otherwise we're going to be really grumpy with you for not doing that work. I have no idea what the hell is going on.

That's all, folks. Next week 9:00am, Saturday. 1:00pm, Sunday. Bring donuts if applicable.

the PW board is: Matt Biagini, Maya Bruhns, Sarah Campen, Brian Christian, Ross Cowan, Adam Immerwahr, Alana Jacoby, Tess Lantos, Hannah Lewis, Todd Lipcon, Garland McQuinn, Blair Nelsen, Michael Perlman, Elliot Quick, Alex Rosenthal, Kaya Schmandt, Reese Smith, Justin Spiegel, and Emily Drumsta (on leave).
